A Chartered Environmental Engineer, Chartered Environmentalist, Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM), Registered Environmental Auditor with the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA), Member of the Chartered Institute of Wastes Management and Expert Witness. Formerly a member of CIWEM's waste management panel and an Envirowise advisor.

David has more than 20 years experience of delivering client's environmental management improvement projects. He has delivered a wide variety of applied research and regional development projects. He is qualified as a Technically Competent Manager (Wamitab level 4) for hazardous waste treatment sites and is professionally qualified (Certificate of Professional Competence) to manage road haulage operations for the waste sector.

Responsible for research and development work on new/improved pollution abatement technology and industrial practices. He has a number of years experience of patenting new innovations and progressing their commercial exploitation. He has undertaken expert witness work on cases involving environmental pollution. He has presented papers on environmental management topics to international conferences and national symposia.
