Case study - phase 3
Contaminated land remediation strategy
Teanby Design and Build planned to develop residential housing on former industrial land and identified contamination that was harmful to human health. In order to contain any risk to human health and the environmental, Environmental Management Consultants (EMC) devised a land remediation strategy.
The site specific remediation strategy stipulated the measures to remediate the contaminated land so that it no longer posed a risk to human health or the environment. EMC staff oversaw the implementation of the remediation strategy on site. Following remediation, Teanby Design and Build commenced construction.
Contaminated land remediation strategy phase 4
Our validation process (Phase 4) allowed the client to be confident that due diligence had been adhered to, that the development was fit for use, and that the identified contamination no longer posed a risk to human health or the environment. See Validation of contaminated land remediation
