Ecological Surveys

Environmental Management Consultants (EMC) has undertaken a number of ecological surveys used to assess the feasibility of projects that may impact on wildlife currently protected by International law and the UK habitats regulations. The Humber Estuary is one of the UK's most important European Marine Sites designated as a RAMSAR, Special Protection Area (SPA), Special Area for Conservation and a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).

EMC has a reputation for providing clear environmental guidance to inform development proposals that affect local wildlife interest. EMC has demonstrated that the environment and habitat quality can be enhanced by well planned industrial development if consideration is given prior to development. Recent ecological impact assessment include some in support of wind turbine developments in Derbyshire.
