Case study - regional water minimisation strategy
Environmental Management Consultants staff worked with Thames Water, the UK's largest water company, to develop and implement a water efficiency strategy to achieve regulatory targets. In the period between March 2010 and April 2011 the work helped to deliver water savings in excess of 5.0 million litres of water per day.

Case study - Yorkshire Food Sector Waste Project
EMC staff delivered a Yorkshire wide waste management project to improve the Food Sector's waste management practices on behalf of Recycling Action Yorkshire. The work supported the development and management of a pilot waste collection project in the food and drink processing sector. The objective of the project was to increase the level of small and medium sized enterprise involvement in and awareness of recycling opportunities and to promote the diversion of food and drink derived waste from landfill in the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Case study - establishing overseas subsidiaries

Environmental Management Consultants staff assisted Reclaimed Appliances Ltd's business development work to establish overseas trading links with foreign waste recycling companies and helped to assess the feasibility of establishing subsidiary companies in Africa and South East Asia. This work involved the liason with UKTI, British embassy staff overseas and environmental regulatory authories in the UK, Africa and South East Asia.
